If you are just getting started on your weight loss or fitness journey . The important thing to remember is to take it easy!
You are motivated and want to go all in but the thing is if you go too hard, too soon, you risk burning out too fast or scaring yourself off. You need to ease into things to build upon your fitness and journey so that you can stick to the program and maintain your progress.
Many that are just starting out also have limited equipment or may not want to join a gym right away. The HIIT workout below is only 35 minutes and can be done on a treadmill or even outside, but helps train the body to get used to pushing yourself so that you can progress to more advanced levels in time. Not to say this workout will not be hard for a beginner. Due to being a beginner you will still burn a ton of calories and see progress! If you are doing this workout outside simply just jog and walk for the allotted time.
Round 1 - Walk at speed 2, for 10 minutes
Round 2 - Jog at speed 4, for 1 minute
Round 3 - Walk at speed 2, for 5 minutes
Round 4 - Jog at speed 4, for 1 minute
Round 5 - Walk at speed 2, for 5 minutes
Round 6 - Jog at speed 4, for 1 minute
Round 7 - Walk at speed 2, for 7 minutes
Round 8 - Jog at speed 4, for 2 minutes
Round 9 - Walk at speed 2, for 5 minutes
