Ginger Bread Pancakes

 A breakfast favorite, enjoy these fluffy and fantastic pancakes that will satisfy your sweet tooth, while giving your waistline a break!

This recipe makes 10 servings

Ingredients:

 

1 ½ cup all purpose flour

1 tsp. baking powder

¼ tsp. baking soda

¼ tsp salt

½ tsp. ground ginger

¼ tsp. ground nutmeg

1 egg

½ tsp. vanilla

¼ cup honey

1 ½ cup water

 

Method of Preparation:

 

  1. In a large bowl whisk together the baking powder sod, salt ginger and nutmeg.
  2. In a separate smaller bowl mix together the egg, vanilla and honey until smooth. Add in the water and wish again until well combined
  3. Slowly stir in the flour and mix well until smooth
  4. Heat a griddle pan with a little oil over medium heat.
  5. Using a large spoon drop the batter onto the griddle. Cook until small bubbles form around the edges of each pancake.
  6. Flip and cook on the other side until brown.
